Ember — organic distortion, untamed control
Mac App Store iPhone & iPad

A full drive chain in one pedal.

Not another single-circuit distortion. A gritty, tweed-flavored overdrive sits on the bottom, a filthy fuzz runs layered on top, and compression is built in — the stacked-amps sound that normally takes three pedals and an afternoon of gain-staging.

Play it. Right here.

The real DSP — the same code that ships in the app — running in your browser.

  1. POWER ON, then LIVE INPUT — allow input access and pick your audio interface from the dropdown (headphones on: it's a high-gain pedal).
  2. The big orb is the DRIVE knob — drag it up and down. The small knobs drag the same way (double-click resets, scroll wheel works too).
  3. Click WARM / DRIVE / RAVAGE to switch voices, stomp BOOST for lead mode, and try BYPASS to A/B your dry signal.

Live input: turn your speakers down or use headphones — this is a high-gain pedal and it will feed back through open speakers, exactly like the real thing.

WARM

Distortion the way it was first discovered: a pushed vintage amp with sliced speaker cones. Raw, retro, touch-sensitive. Roll BITE up and it tips into blown-speaker sizzle with a starved-supply quiver in the note.

DRIVE

Everything, more. A doubled, dual-amp crunch straight out of the 1980s. The sustain sings, sizzles, crackles, and rings — and stays articulate. Every note in a run stays clear.

RAVAGE

Unhinged. The amps are on fire and the ship is going down. Stomp BOOST and single notes bloom into screaming, feedback-laced sustain. Pinch harmonics, smoldering solos, sixties-fuzz recklessness at modern gain.
