WEAR ages the transport: wow, scrape and sprocket flutter. Tap the pedal body and hear the pitch dip, then recover.
The projector's exposed film mechanism
GRIT adds hiss, grain, crackle and pops. The separate PROJECTOR switch lets the machine itself join the soundtrack.
A couple at a drive-in with a small speaker hanging from their car window
TAKE THE SHOW OUTSIDE. Flip Theater to Drive-in for a narrower speaker voice and a distant echo.
